Everyone

I'm about to choose a dealer to go haggle for a new mini. Does anyone know what

I've seen many threads on dealer fees, but would like to know your experience / fees in southern california.

What do you mean by "fees"?

You can get a good deal through carsdirect.com or if costco auto program has an account with mini

florida and california both have high dealer fees. you should make a out the door offer with tax tag and fees included.

My family own brand x dealerships and i can tell you that the dealer fees pay for our vacation homes in aspen and amsterdam

Stay away from MINI of Universal City. They charge the highest dealer's fees. The service department needs work with their customer relations also. Don't go.

I would also stay away from Crevier. They add Cilajet to all MINIs for about $800.

If you are lucky and buy/service at Monrovia, you'll get to choose from a base Chevy Cobalt or a truck for your loaner..

I've gotten the Chevy Cobalt too from enterprise, but I think the dealer gives out BMW and MINI loaners as long as you schedule ahead of time. I had to schedule over 3 weeks ahead of time to get my next loaner.

Universal City is the worst they over charge for minis and have mandatory options like all of their minis have their tires filled with nitrogen and they add something like $500.00 for this while the tire shop down the street charges $50.00 for this service. Crevier is terrible to I had deal with their internet sales guy and when I got down there the price went up $ 2000.00. Bob Smith only wanted to charge me $50.00 in dealer fees but they would not discount much off the sticker. I finally got fed up and bought now two minis a clubman and a new convertible from Desert in Las Vegas. I did have to drive to Vegas but I made a fun trip out of it. And I had to go to the California DMV to register and get the mini inspected but no dealer in Southern California would offer the big discount that desert gave me.

I bought mine at Irvine Mini in orange county. The MRSP was $25800. I paid
$25,350. Document fee was $40 plus whatever charge for car registration.
2 front mats and wheel locks were free.

I got caught off guard for paying $2280 for extended maintenance but got it rescinded the following day when I spoke with the financial director.

I with Irvine Mini did a better job at updating their website with the vehicles they have available, pictures and options.

Yeah they kind of suck, I'm going in next weekend to get my sunroof adjusted for the... fourth time now?? Last time they said they couldn't find my appointment and I pressed it, so I got a 335i loaner instead of a MINI
