Garage Door option available again for Ian Cull circuit

Hi all, with Ian's help FES can now ship Auto-Up circuits with the garage door option. There are three "flavors" of the garage door function, and if you want to get one, you have to know what version you need.
  • 12 volt momentarily supplies 12 volts to the power leads. You either mechanically keep the button down or solder it closed, and the short power on acts to trigger your remote. To test if this works for you, take the battery out of your remote, hold the button down, and momentarily touch the battery to the contacts. If it works this way, you're good to go!
  • 9 volts works pretty much the same way, but has a flying lead that just clicks onto the 9 volt transistor battery. Wiring is a bit easier.
  • "Shorting" mode is one where no voltage is supplied, but a solid state relay "closes" the contacts across the switch momentarily. this keeps whatever battery is in the remote, and you have to figure out how your switch needs to be "shorted". This is important because solid state relays do care about which side is the "hot" side to work properly.
Each one of these is a bit different (from a building point of view) so we need to know which version you need when you order. In a way, each one is custom built for each order.

Price is $75 including shipping via USPS. CA sales require sales tax and are $81.48.

Bought one without the garage door option and want it? We can add it to your version 6 circuit! Send it back in, and we'll add what's needed to yours and send it back to you. $25 includes shipping from us to you via USPS. CA orders are $26.85 including tax and shipping.

Submit orders to sales@fes-auto.com, and let us know what version of garage door option you need!

Matt

ps, thanks go to Gray Raven for begging me hard enough for one for me to learn how to do it and get parts in stock.
