Does anyone have the instructions on how to install a nuvi 360 in a 05 Carbrio MINI S....we live 5 hours from the closest dealership and I would like my local audio guy to be able to install it!

What do you mean install?

 

Get the mount from Craven; it is the best, in my opinion and experience.

 

I just ordered the gominigo nuvi bracket. I don't know how it'll compare to the craven, but either would be exponentially cheaper than the dealer installed kit.

 

What the audio guy needs is the detailed instructions as to how to wire it in my car...have found the instructions for the 2nd Gen but need instructions for the 05...Thanks!

...red goes to a fused hot with the key on, black to ground.

 

It came with a set up like that but it has four wires..and the need to know where it goes

 

The installers need a set of instructions

I have a Nuvi as well (a 255w I think). My suggestion is to plug it into your lighter, listen to the instructions, and glance at the map only when needed. I just got back from a 400 mile trip doing that and it worked-out just fine.

 

Thanks for that...but this one came with a permenant mount and have made all of these new friends with the factory instructions. We do have GPS's in our other vehicles that we plug into the lighter...but I wanted just one of them to not look like the back of my desk with wires for phones, gps, and ipods!
