After waiting an additional 2 & 1/2 weeks for the "Cash for Clunkers" program to begin, I get to pick up my MCS tomorrow! I'm driving my Ford F250 diesel 300 miles to the Seattle area and will then find an alternate route home to help break the new ride in.

I've been working on this since last August, so I'm pretty stinkin' excited. It's a DS / White with Premium, Cold & Sport Packages & some other stuff. I'll post pics when I can, which might be a while since I'm leaving on a two week vacation on Wednesday! (W/o the car, no less).

The wait is almost over!!!

I also used to drive a pickup truck before I got mine. You will not regret it!

 

Congrats, I also pick mine up tomorrow thanks to the Cash for Clunkers program It was the best choice for us because it combined looks, sporty, economical, and price all while qualifying for the maximum amount under the CARS program.

 

Picked up the car yesterday - only got $3500 for it for reasons unknown, but that's what I got - & drove the as yet unnamed hot rod home last night.

Unfortunately, I leave on vacation tomorrow so I won't be able to drive the car until I get back. Whaaaa! Oh well, I WILL be on vacation, so no one should feel sorry for me.

Here are some pics & it's so terrific to finally officially be in the club! Oh yeah, saw my first MINI while driving mine, flicked my lights and got a wave! So I'm one for one!
