Hello mini fans! This is my first posting. Ordering black MC with Tartan in December for April delivery. Just wondering if anyone has pics of the factory mudflaps. Have been looking forward to ownership of a MC since development started in 2000. Thanks for any info.

Remind me again what obscene amount of money MINI charges for these two pieces of plastic? I'm surprised that more of this stuff has not been replicated by the aftermarket by now.

I believe the front Mud Flaps are about $25 from Classic MINI.

Not horrendously obscene.

Really?! Oh. Sorry. I must have these confused with something else. I could have sworn they were like $80 or $100. Maybe that was the rear ones?

Beg to differ I have the rear mud flaps and they do keep the back cleaner thant without them. I am glad I put them on.

Thanks for the reply on he color combo. I just think it is one THE most unique combos anyone can order. Sounds like your MC is almost the exactly MC I'm ordering. Besides the color combo, I'm getting all 3 packages, chrome inserts, Xenons, rain sensing wipers/auto dim mirror, the anthracite interior accents (looks better to contrast w/the red), the sport exhaust tip and the clear repeater lens on the front fenders. Getting anxious for April '04! Thanks again for the reply!

Thank you for the pics! I know it may sound wierd, but to me on some cars, mud flaps "balance out" the look of a car. I'm probably partial to them anyway growing up in Alaska and now living Cleveland. I'm just used to seeing cars with mudflaps on them. Thanks again.

Sorry - of all the mudflap threads I've read, you're the only rear mudflap owner who's said that (to my recollection). I admit I haven't tried the rears - I was just passing on what others had said.
