How much do the stock seats weigh?

I was considering doing a swap but really how much weight can someone expect to save in going from stock fronts (leather) to an average aftermarket sport seat? Especially since I will be loosing airbags and heated seats in the process.

I have heard upwards of 100lbs each. Keep in mind the seat frame is all steel.

I guess the top flight leather heater seats might be that much, but I saved 25lbs going from unheated fabric stock to SparcoEvo2. I think my Sparcos weigh about 35lbs each, so the stockers should weigh about 60lbs.

Different aftermarket seats can vary a lot in weight.

There are lots of other weight saving #s in that thread.. very useful read if you're looking to drop some weight out of the interior
