Need Stripes - Opinions Needed!
I have a PW/PW S which may be in need of stripes. I'm leaning towards sport or viper stripes, but I'd like to get opinions of what y'all think! I'm not sure if I should just do the bonnet/boot/bumpers or do the roof as well.
Here is a poor photo of my car:

All opinions welcome, thanks!

The stripes on the Challenge Series Mini are my favorite. They'd look awesome in black on your car, especially if you blacked out (or whited out) all the chrome. Definitely go all the way down the bumpers since you already have the license plate moved to the side. The roof would look good with stripes too since you don't have the sunroof.

I'm going to be getting the same stripes soon.

I'd definitely planning on blacking out the chrome and maybe swapping the fuel door to the justacooper one.
I love the challenge stripes too, but what are your opinions about the sunroof? Apply a contrasting strip for that section (Just throw some white stripes over that section?) or get a solid white sunroof vinyl piece to make the roof all white then apply the black stripes? I need to get MINI to fully fix my sunroof before I do anything to it.
Thanks for the input!

Do you have the sunroof? It doesn't look like it in the picture. I would definitely run the stripes over it if you do. Your idea for making the whole roof white sounds good but then you kind of lose half of the idea of the sunroof.
In my case my car is all black, so there's no need changing the color of the sunroofs to make the stripes stick out. I'm just going to do the stripes all the way down.
I know a few people on NAM have swapped the fuel doors, I guess it takes a lot more work than it looks.

Yes I have the sunroof, I know it's kind of hard to see. I think making the sunroof white then running stripes over it could end up looking horrible, so maybe I'll just skip that idea and run stripes over the glass.
I'm not exactly sure how much work is involved with swapping the fuel door, but if it's not TOO much work, I'll do it. I prefer the MC door, but I guess mine would look good in black too.

Another vote for the Challenge Stripes. Depending on your interior color, you might consider red or even blue. Blue on white is great combo. Classic black is also good too. If you are going to "black" out the chrome, then I'd probably stick with the black.

My interior is black leatherette, anthracite, piano black and dark grey color line.
Blue stripes would be pretty cool and yes it's a classic combo, but since I'm planning on blacking out the chrome, black may be the prudent choice. It also might look a little funny next to my other car, which is a blue R32. Red would be cool, but I'd prefer more of a sleeper look.

It would be fun if MINI or someone else had a program where one could go to a site, pick the color of your own car and try out every option possible and see stripes, etc. The mini site sort of starts that, but it would be fun to be able to take it to the next level.
Also FUNNY that we want items that the other models have. Like i am getting rid of my chrome grille for a blacked out one. We always want what the other person has.......

I think I'm gonna go for the Challenge stripes, if only due to peer pressure
Since I'm going to do the blackout anyways (probably the clip ons from aesthetic creations since I'm lazy) I think I'm going to just order the (black) stripes through them as well, unless anyone has a better suggestion. Now I just have to find an installer...

I say red and blue.
Your sunroof issue might be handled by using perforated pepper white vinyl on the sunroof with the stripes integrated into that graphic. The perforated vinyl lets light into the cabin but reduces the heat considerably...an issue for me here in Las Vegas, NV. I agree with others suggestion to wrap the stripes around the bumpers and below the front and rear lower grills. The Challenge racer "square arrows" at the bottom of the sides between the wheels could also be considered, I think most most MINI vinyl vendors can make anything you desire.
