My first scheduled maintenance

It's been almost a year since I bought my car, and well, I forgot how the scheduled maintenance works.

The tachometer still says I have 3400 miles before service. My question is: Do I go for scheduled maintenance when that thing gets to 0 miles, or do I go 1 year after I picked the car up?

Thanks!

Your Dealer will be able to tell you when to bring it in. Have you not done any Oil Change and/or visited your Dealer for any reason??

Most will tell you once the OBC says 1,000 miles or less that's when they schedule the Service for you. Our told us that during the Anniversary Month they will do the Annual Maintnenance Inpection and Oil Change. Molly has a visit to the Dealership every 6 Months for Oil Changes (I pay for the 6mo. one). It's preventative maintenance and peace of mind IMHO!!

Thanks guys!

Will the dealer do the same maintenance regardless of when I bring it in, or is there a difference?

from the manual: Every 12 months or when the computer says to bring it in.

The annual service is mostly an oil change.

The countdown odometer service has more to it. IIRC, they flush the brake fluid, replace the interior filter, and engine air filter, change the oil again, and do some inspections. There may be more to it.
