Yes, please! It's way better than that dumb SUV thing.

The rendering is pretty happenin'.

But I still would prefer they follow through with the Triumph concept that surfaced a while back.

Oh heck no.

There were some sketches somewhere of an updated TR concept... don't think they were "official" - just something somebody worked up...

is it going to be a a REAL mini MINI roadster? or is it going to be the same size as the miata, Z4, s2000, TT, and other roadsters etc.. since those are small already.. it wouldn't make the roadster a MINI

Motor Trend picks. I still prefer the one in the first post. But this one is not that bad. The rear looks chopped off though.

The Motor Trend pics look kind of funny, almost looks as it needs to squat a bit more in the front. I dunno, might just be the angles too. Certainly needs some sort of spoiler to take the attention of those two humps in the rear no?

I might as well throw one more picture up in the bunch.
I read an article (name escapes me) stating that this soft top roadster will have a removable hard top that mimmics the current MINI design.
I can't wait to see the final product. I sure hope it is at Frankfurt.

There was something else that bugged me about the pic and I think it is the driver. Looks like he's not comfortable; looks like he has to take a pee real bad.

I like the Bonnet on this one..

(Driver has to go, he looks like he's in need of the next rest stop bad)
With the boot on this one..

I have also heard this MINI referred to as a Speedster instead of Roadster.

Now to top it off with a cherry on top, it would be great if MINI gave an engine package option of Supercharged vs. Turbocharged.

Maybe he is trying to imitate Clarkson's woolly hair.

The car looks kinda bad though. You could get the same effect on a cabrio by just removing the folding roof and putting a fiberglass cover over the rear seats, this would be better looking too.

There's also supposedly a Rolls Royce version of the MINI coming out soon, at least in Europe.
