i know that you do not, but i dont know exactly why. technically there is still a stock recirculator valve that takes care of the pressures generated, and by just upgrading the tubes its not a necessity. and yeah, they sound cool.

yeah... when you're on the cold side boost tubes, that little pipe that comes off the cold side tubes is exactly what it's called.... a noise maker... it takes the excess boost and does the VTA style giving you a little sound at the limit...

something that actually has to do with the BOV or stock recirculating valve is the forge motorsport adaptor... and any of the stock block plates like Alta has.... that's located basically right behind the turbo inlet part, and is controlled by the car's computer (to my knowledge anyway.... i'm not exactly sure how it works...) but i also know that if you have DSC on and you have forge's BOV, the engine supposedly cuts power by venting boost and you'd hear that...

another reason i'm sure that the noise maker isn't exactly a BOV is because NM Engineering is working on their cold side boost tube which deletes that... mainly because that noise maker has NOTHING to do with actual boost control... it's just a noise maker :P sounds nice ya know? i'm actually planning on selling my Helix13 BOV and alta cold side boost tube once NM comes out with their boost tube. anyway, i hope that helped a little bit ...
