Home made R56 CAI system

Here's my home-made CAI system for my R56
It definately feels more responsive than my old filter fitted on the standard intake pipe.

Hope you like it

yes it is euro spec!

i drilled hole on the box and screwed it into the brackets for the
stock box. only 2 of the screws could be fitted though.
and i have NO IDEA what the thin pipe is, just covered that for some random reason.

Looks like it uses the stock front cold air source, in addition to two tubes leading in from what looks like the rear cowl vent by the windshield. (can sorta seem em in pic 2)

Good work!

Thats pretty impressive man. Nice work.

Yes my R56 is euro spec. so the battery position should be the other way round.
The intake sources are indeed from the original intake tube, and two more from behind the "firewall", or whatever you call it.
This turned out to be pretty good because i still get a fair amount of COLD air for intake (and trust me, it makes a hell of a diff), and the sound also comes out from the windshield intake.

Question guys, i had to have my own breather pipe installed to fit into my 3" intake pipes, but the oil doesnt seem to be going back to the system.
it doesnt travel all d way down the pipe instead it runs backwards and sort of leaks out from the engine side of the pipe.
ANY SOLUTIONS??
