Hello, Everybody that reads this thread I am hoping you could help me out here. Well I have had a name for my mini, but I feel that its too much to seem of though. I named it "Enzo" so far, but my dogs name is Enzo too though Lol. If anybody could help me figure out a name for my cooper, please do. Its a 2007 R56 Mini Cooper (Non-S) Mellow Yellow w/ Black roof. So we have figured out to maybe call it Bumble bee, or something like that ha ha lol.

That's a pretty personal decision ! What does your Mini tell you? If you are thinking about bees, why not call it "Buzz" or something related?

 

"Buzz" is cool if you dont mind the drug connotation. I like "Stinger" too but that sounds phallic. Like the Llama says, its all up to you.

 

Haha, I was going to get my mini in MY and call it Bumblebee.. but in the end I decided to go with BRG instead. Didn't keep me from putting the Autobot decal on the roof though! I say call it Nana, because it's cute, and short for banana. :P

Naming a British/German car "Enzo" seems odd to me. Jackie or Stewart as in Jackie Stewart.

If you are more into the bee thing, call it "Honey." That should get a few odd looks.

A friend of mine has a MY Cooper, she has personalised plates with KILL BLL on them. The name suits her MINI but it wouldnt be to everyones liking. Its a personal choice that you have to make.

How about "Yellow Jacket"? A yellow car, and the JAC in Jacket can double as an acronym for JustACooper. (Of course you know that a Yellow Jacket is a hornet/wasp species...)

Even if you don't know your MINIs name, you prolly know if it is a he or a she.

I like to give my cars people names. My first Mini was Chester Chadwick and the new one is Oliver. Just stare at the front of your car and whatever jumps into your head is its name. A yellow and black Mini would remind me of: . So maybe Smiles.

I think I will have to go with bigsoup52's response. I do like it lol, but we will see until then.

 

I named mine Red Dog... I had several reasons for it:

1. I own an English Bulldog and the Mini is car version of a bullie.
2. My brother plays for University of Georgia and their mascot is a Bulldog (not the reason I got a bulldog) and their main color is red.
3. My mini is Chili Red.

Probably not the most creative name... but, as most have said, it's personal and works for me.

How bout Akeelah.. like the movie Akeelah and the Bee.. which isn't about an actual insect but about a spelling bee! A play on words if you will...
