A little photoshop fun

Well, I had a few minutes this morning to fire up photoshop and come up with what I would like the Mini to look like once my warranty runs out. I've already got the wheels, just need to paint the rest. Then comes the dilemma of lowering.

This is what it looks like right now

Just the wheels: I really don't like aftermarket wheels on stock suspension but I think I can handle this look before getting some lowering springs.

Wheels and lowered:

What do you guys think?

The wheels are a great improvement - really add to the coloring.

Personally I prefer the standard ride height, but I'm pretty much on my own in that I think! I prefer the wheel center to also be the center of the radius of the wheel opening in the fender - especially on a car like the MINI which makes such a feature of the wheel openings.

(In my case, a 2nd reason is that some of the good driving roads around here have some pretty big bumps in places, some of which already bottom out the suspension - and I'd be worried about bottoming out the whole car if it was lowered.)

Really nice Photoshop work BTW, especially to keep the background smooth in the lowered picture.

Very good points. I guess I should just go ahead and bite the bullet on the wheels/stock ride height look.

Thank you!
