I just got new DICE from eas and need your help :'(

Hello,

I just got DICE raido for my mini 06. I bought it from EAS... but I can't find any instruction.. actually it has instruction which doesn't say anything but DIP switches...I can't believe it does not have any picture or anything.

Actually, I've been searching the instruction on the web so I got this
http://www.minicarparts.net/Instruct...structions.cfm

but I am not sure this is enough for me. I've never done this kinda job.

What is the bettery off? I heard that I need to reset the bettery off or something... sigh...

Can anyone explain step by step?

I just unhooked both battery terminals and went to town. Contact them, they are on the forums somewhere, they are helpful. You will love it once it is installed.

How can I open the under dash?

I am trying to install DICE ipod like I posted above. I realized that I need to open the underday to release bot on the left side of radio set.

Is there anyone can explain how to open it? I tried to pull it down but it didn't move at all...

The terminal is on the battery in the trunk "boot"
Contact Tom at eas. There is also a thread in the audio section, just scroll down a little and you will see an official eas link.

Again contact Tom, I did not get the correct instructions and he just emailed me the correct ones. He was very helpful, if you asked nice i am sure he will help you through all of it. Hang in there it is worth it.

This piece is really held together well, just pull harder. The hinges are on the bottom and in is snapped into place at the top.

Thank to everyone who helped me about this. I really appreciate it; I am seriously thinking that I need to go to mini cooper service center for this.. cuz I don't wanna break the underdash..

You won't break the under dash panel - it's just very securely clipped in. As stated, it hinges at the bottom, so just grab it where it meets the steering column and give it a solid pull.
