Blaupunkt Plug N Play Amps

For anyone that has used these amps, where did you get the vehicle specific adapter cable? I know it's the same as a few other BMW's, but most places I look list for the non-FARKA sound system. Is this the one to use?

Thanks

Is that the right one for certain? When I put in 06 Cooper with factory stereo, it tells me it won't fit. Have you used it with success?

This is the unit I had ordered in the past (out of stock at the time). It is for non Fakra MINI Cooper. If you are unsure, give them a call.

Thanks. I called Crutchfield, and that's actually the wrong one. The correct one for an 06 Mini has been discontinued.

Now to plan B

Well most likely, it will involve using a line out converter to get a signal to run to another amp. I'd really like to avoid splicing into the wire harness though, so I may go with an aftermarket HU.

In other words, I'm not sure what plan B is...

When I couldn’t get the adapter from them (backordered at the time) I returned the amp and got a Focal amp and speakers, and had them professionally installed. Seems that this adapter has been very difficult to come by for a long time. Good luck.

Here's the one you needed. Bummer they're not selling them anymore. I guess because MINI's no longer selling the radio. You might be able to find one somewhere. Good luck.

Yep, that's the one. I haven't been able to find it anywhere on the net.

Do I have any other options to put in an amp and keep the stock wiring to the speakers?
