Throttle problems?

For about 3 days now, when I start the car in the morning, it idles rough. Sometimes it will cut off, but will start right back up. It then smooths out. During the day, it is fine, but sometimes when I take off from a stop, there is a lack of power, then sometimes it's fine. Before all this happened, boost was at 16 psi at WOT. I haven't romped on it hard since this happened, so I'm not sure if the boost has decreased any. The car has always had a delay. I recently addeda Detroit Tuned bypass valve thinking this would cure the delay. It pretty much added 1 psi of boost. I just received my Sprint Booster today, and will see if this will help on the electronic side of things, definitely until I can get a tune.

Here are a few problems I have worth noting. The car has a busted motor mount, the belt tensioner is showing right at a half a hole, maybe a little less. I'm wondering if this could be a belt problem. Either way, I have both the motor mount and belt scheduled to be replaced at MOTD. Currently I have no time to replace these parts. Current mods CAI, 15% s/c pulley, 2% oversized pulley, Detroit Tuned bypass valve, and I believe IDK22 colder plugs. I just find it weird that this just started happening all of a sudden. Again, the car runs fine, it's just sometimes when you give it gas, there is that hesitation, and of course the initial rough idle in the morning. The car has not yet thrown any codes. If anybody has any suggestions, please feel free to shoot them my way.

rough idle is a very common problem it seems...some ppl have had luck changing octane, or getting an ecu update from the dealer.

for the hesitation, are you sure its not the bypass valve? that part does change throttle response, tendencies.

I'd try the basic and easy ones first like fuel injector cleaner or seafoam, new spark plug & wires as it looks like you are having misfire. Check also the IC rubber boots if there is a leak. Try also resetting your computer.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I did an oil change on the car at lunch today (level was a little low, plus it was time). I was wondering if low oil pressure might have been the culprit. The car seems to run back to normal. I'll find out in the morning when I go to start it. We have been having some cold mornings as of late. I also installed the Sprint Booster 15 minutes ago. I fired it up and blipped the throttle a little. Must say, the delay is gone. I will find out tomorrow morning how it does while driving. Thanks again.

I'll post something tomorrow after I have actually driven the car. After the install tonight, I just fired it up to make sure the accelerator pedal still worked, but the delay was definitely gone. We'll see how it performs on the road, but if it's not what I want, I've got the 30 day window. Thanks again, and post some updates tomorrow.

Well, after firing the car up this morning, the cold start problem is still there. I'll probably just reset the computer for grins.

As for the Sprint Booster, WOW!!!! I don't know whether to love it or hate it. The acceleration is that dramatic. I'm still getting used to it, but I'm leaning towards keeping it because.
1. It solved my hesitation from take off
2. The car is wayyyyy more livelier

The major downfall with this is sometimes the acceleration is so intense, it feels like it needs an aftermarket clutch. Again, I'm still getting used to it. I figure by tomorrow, I'll be driving back to normal. It's definitely not for everybody though. Some have made the remark in other threads that a simple solution is to push the gas down harder. They obviously haven't driven my car. The acceleration is like it's on a caffeine pill or something. I'll just say it does what it claims to do.
