**PICS** AutoXCooper Wing Tip installed!

Even if it doesn't help keep the boot clean by any measure, I still love it because it looks GREAT !! (your opinion may vary)

Took all of ten minutes to install. Eaaaaaaaaaaaaaasy.

And here's a bonus pic. Just installed some door handle checkers a couple weeks ago. Don't mind the cocomats, they're being replaced this month, shipment is on its way. And notice the nifty hat hanger.

Oh yeah, White was a no-brainer. It was one of my "later" mods to do, too. I'm just about done with modding this MINI. A few things to do yet with the interior but the exterior mods have almost been exhausted. ALMOST.

Sure, Dustin. Feel free to steal any of those pics you might want. Here's a couple more, too, in case you don't like any of those:

Will do.

Too soon to tell, but I didn't feel the need to clean the rear glass this morning. For me, that's saying something !

I assure you, BOTH are clean.

We'll see how long the rear of the CAR stays clean. After a couple days, it is a little dusty, but not as much as normal. Evening commute will tell me more... it's raining here today.

And hey...

Dustin makes this? It's a JS Art right? Looks a bit silly so small (and in white) compared to full version.

Okay, just got home after my 26 mile commute on wet roads.

For the first 5 or 6 miles, the roads were wet but not soaked and the boot stayed spotless.

After that, I hit the roads that were really wet and the boot got the dirty water spray on it. BUT... I'd say about 40-50 percent less than pre-wing tip.
So, is the boot dirty from the rain ? Yes. But it's not as filthy as it would have been without the wing tip. Overall, I'm happy with the function and very happy with the aesthetics.

I bought the JSart Wing Tip from AutoXCooper back in 2008 and it still looks great although I don't really notice much of a difference in the cleanliness of the back. Up here in the Northwest with 6 months of drizzle and not much opportunity to wash cars, my back end gets plenty dirty. If your car is only half as dirty as before with the Wing , you're still going to have to wash it aren't you? That said, it does look good. Mine is the same color as the wing(black) so it it not as pronounced as the white on black. Glad to see Mr. AutoXCooper is still with us.
