Will 2nd Gen front bumper fit a 1st Gen?

I searched around a little and found very little on the topic. But will a 2nd gen front bumper fit onto a 1st gen MCS? If not what will it take to make the swap possible?

id have to say no.

the front of the 2nd gen cars are 'taller' and youd have to change a whole lot more than just the bumper if even the base chassis were the same (are they?)

every panel on the 2nd gen is different than the 1st. it will not fit. However, anything is possible if you are good at fabricating, body repair and fiberglassing.

That would look hideous. The lines are just so much different...

I used to have a 95 Integra that I switched out the bumpers with for a 2001 spec.

I asked the same question a couple days ago. To reiterate what pinoyxpride told me, the R56 chassis is different spec from R53. But you'll hear (like I did) that with some custom fabrication, anything is possible.

If you do decide on some custom work, don't forget to take some pics!

What about the rear

Is the rear of the R56 so different that yo couldn't put it on a R53? Yes I saw the last post that talked about custom work, but that is not the route I want to go.
