Plasti-dip Wheels?

I really want black rims on my LY/B but I really don't have the cash currently. Is plasti-dip a good solution? I do lots of interstate driving. How long does plasti-dip last on average? Does it look crappy on wheels? Does it hold on the factory wheels?

Thanks!

I used High temp BBQ flat black on my Pontiac' rims and have had no problems what so ever, and it has been over 7 years. It was like like 5 bucks a can plus 5 for some wet sand paper just an option.
The nice thing with Plastidip is that you don't have to do any prep work and if you don't like it just peel it off.
