3M clear bra

just got a 3m clear bra installed today from the guys at supershield in boca raton florida. nice guys and they did a great job. they do alot of cool cars , the walls are decorated with all the supercars they have done installs on . every kind of car you would ever want to own and drive. so if your in south florida and have a new car clear bra it . the dump trucks are terrible down here. i just google clear bra and they were the only ones that came up and checked out all the reviews . i called them up and they installed it the next day. hopefully it will keep my 09 looking a whole lot better than my 07 did . check um out there nice people.

Sorry but I hate clearbras the seam is always very visiable and is more of a blemish on the looks of the car than any damage I've ever seen, I cringe every time I see a nice looking car with one close up.

My clear bra has done a good job of protecting but is starting to decay-I want to take it off soon. Some schmuck previously scrubbed along the seam when washing, so there is a little added accentuation of the seam on the hood. I may put on another on though, based on all the crap bouncing off my hood when I drive.

i got the hood and bumper and the mirrors installed for $598.00 . even gave me a free can of speed bead to keep it clean. also it has a 5 year warranty. told me to call and come in anytime if there is a problem. judgeS i drive about 44000 miles a year my last mini took a real beating up front. loads of rock chips and a $hiite load of bugs. seams dont seem to look as bad as that. unless you walk right up to it you cant tell its on there. this is my third mini and i would like to keep this one for a while as nice as i can . the bra can be removed if i need to later on.

+1 on the clear bra if done correctly.

Mine looks great and you can hardly tell it's there. I had 2 rock chips in the first week of driving my Mini ...I said F this, got the clear bra and 1 year later have zero chips.

We have the 3M clear bra material on both of our MINIs (front bumper, fog lights, headlamps, hood scoop, and first 18" of the hood). We waited about three months before putting it on my wife's car, and I had to fix a half-dozen rock chips before I could take the car to the installer. So when my MINI arrived, it went to the installer the day after I brought it home from the dealer.

It's been three years on her car and two and a half on mine, and both still look great.

I had my whole hood covered. the installer did a custom job and tucked in the bra all around the edges. You can't see any seam at all.

3M clear bra prices in Canada...

Didn't know which thread to revive, but I chose this one...

Should take delivery of my S Camden any day now, and wanted a 3M clear bra installed before I drove off with it.

Dealer is quoting me $355 for a Front Clear Shield and $550 for a Full Front Shield (that would include the front bumper and mirror caps.)

Thought I'd get another quote somewhere... $125 and $200 respectively!

Guess I'll have it done as soon as possible after I get the car. Surprised about the price difference though... Is it even possible?

We had Molly's Clear Bra installed before we took Delivery, $700 (Hood, Front Bumper, Mirrors, Door Edges...) and well worth it, now we won't have a car without some kind of Clear Bra Protection!!

you can surely get better deals than the dealer. My dealer wanted $1400 for full hood/bumper/mirrors. I found a guy who came to my house and installed it in my garage, I got full hood/full front and rear bumpers/mirrors, rocker panels/intake scoop/9 inches up the doors/door edges/behind door handles for $1000. I got the Ventureshield film because it comes with a lifetime warranty unlike 3M that only has a 10 year warranty.

I also got the Ventureshield last year. Lifetime warranty - but you have to save your paperwork.

After 15000, I'm very happy with it.
