New '09 S black out help - front grille

Hey all, just took delivery of my new '09 MCS, and priority #1 is window tint, #2 is starting to get rid of chrome. Is a black replacement grille available for this car or do i gotta use one of the other methods to black it out? I'd prefer to replace the part if that's an option for the grille.

I'm looking at the grille from outmotoring, http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coop...rill_trim.html
It says this though "This trim will NOT fit the 'aero kit' that has the black arches that terminate into body colored bumper trim. ".. I've got the aero kit on mine, but dont see any difference in the pieces those would replace. Is it talking about the R53 aero kit like this? http://new.minimania.com/imagesbig/nmx2001-04x.jpg

Any help?

you cant go wrong with plasti-dip

i was not completly sure as to use the pasti dip until i got the ***** and just sprayed my HL, it was so easy that i took out the gas cap, and TL and painted them.

im doing the chrome grill, side vents and possibly the rear view mirrors today.
if you want i can take pics to show you how easy it is.

You need M7 grills all the way around on that car. here is a link

Yep.. ordered the grille from outmotoring, didn't fit since I have Aero kit, as suspected. I then went the plasti-dip route and am happy I did, $15 vs. $165, cant beat that. Here's how mine turned out..

Looks good! Now you need some Rims to match that aggressive looking ride!

Looks great. Love the matte black stripes. You should drop the $13 to get the belt line black out. Really easy to install, and really does look good.

i dont know what they are called.... lol

i tried pulling em towards me then pushing the clips apart but it was hard since it kept wanting to go back in.

what is the "correct" method.

svtcobra281, it looks great! I love the flat black stripes, I was considering doing it on mine, and this definitely is making my decision easier.

"^Adam your ride looks great! Cobra definetly do the beltline blackout (I did it on mine and I love it)-- but I would go with Lyle's and not Outmotoring's offerings.

Yeah got the outmotoring blackout already on the way, along with a stubby antenna and molded blackout handles/gascap from asthetic creations.
