OEM E92 M3 Rear LEDs fitted

First up I took of the rear number plate plinth. Was an easy job as it was just 4 x torx bolts and unclipping the electrical wires. (excuse the piccys used the compact as I couldnt be bothered with the SLR)
car needed a wash hence the dirt.
used these bits, although the bullets werent needed in the end.
Was a very tight fit and had to trim the oem plinth quite a bit and the new lights to get a flush fit.
In the end I managed to do it and wired them up. It didnt work first time but some rewiring later it functioned correctly and the boot popper was working once more.

Siliconed them into place so they fit flush and were water tight...

And volia... sorry didnt have time to wash the car.

far better than the ebay tat!

yeah the original boot plinth isnt very deep and the new units have a plastic connector protruding on the rear. I thought at one point it wouldnt even fit, but luckily I managed to trim down the new units sufficiently to make it go, if just a little bit tight.
