Some simple improvements...

Completed a few things over that last few weeks...

New customized Wet Okole seat covers. Note the matching arm rests and seat covers (extra material) and the Jayhawk logos.

Another view, this one also shows the aircraft-style safety switches for my driving lights on the mirror control panel.

I bought a set of $1.99 cargo straps at Harbor Freight and ran them as shown as seat pulls. They only came in yellow but I like the splash of color in the black hole of the boot. The black carpet at the bottom of the picture is my custom boot box that I carpeted to match the seats...which I then covered with the Wet Okoles . Question...should I replace the black carpet with some more of the blue Wet Okole material or leave it what is now an off-black?

I plasti-Dip'ed the MINI wings on my Boot...

and my bonnet.

Finally, my newly installed iPhone 3G mount. It was $$ but oh man is it perfect. Up high where I can see and reach it and it can get a GPS signal for the map app.

Like the seat covers, really add a lot of pop to the interior.

Love the armrest cover, unique and ties in nicely.

Not sure I like the door handle covers... the way they touch the ovals and the blues don't quite match up, and because your theme is blue/black, I think I would have left those black.

The yellow straps look pretty cool. Yeah, the little bit of another color looks pretty good. Besides, looks like parachute straps... keep people guessing.

The white plasti-dip Wings logos ? I could go either way on those. I wouldn't like it on my MINI but looks okay on yours.

And the Jayhawks logo on there... you sure you didn't mean to get a KSU logo instead ?

I would not change the carpet in the boot. At least in the pic it looks very well integrated with the factory look, and I would not want to call attention to the change.
Also the value of contrasting colors is to not over do them. Just enough to make a difference, not everything you can.
Just my $.02.

Very nice. Did Wet Okole put the Jayhawk logo on for you? I'd like to do something similar with the NCSU strutting wolf in mine on some Wet Okole.

Also, can you provide the source on the iPhone holder?

TIA!

Dude, I'm really liking that white scoop. It makes it pop real nice. I think you should plastidip (black) the "Cooper" on the back. The chrome gets mixed into the white stripes.

yes, Wet Okole did the Logo. The Jayhawk is a trademarked item so it took a bit more effort and a chunk of $$ to make it happen, but it came out looking pretty sweet.

The iPhone holder is made by Carcomm but they don't sell directly. Kuda is a US distributor and also sold the dash adapter. If the Kuda dash adapter isn't to your liking they also make downtube mounts (I wanted mine up high though). Plus, a little Googling should find another distributor that sells the Carcomm mount with a windshield suction cup.

Thanks on the scoop...

I was thinking of 'dipping the COOPER S logo white but then I realized that they'd really be lost. I'm eventually going to replace the split stripes with something down the middle...that'll force a replacement for the logo and then I'll do something with it.

After seeing these pics, I think I'm going to get a set of seat covers in the same color. Your improvements look great!

Looking good and quite a bit different from when I last saw the MINI
Appears that it could use some of those cleaning products in the boot on the outside though.

Looks good but don't all MINI's have side airbags? Do you have to disconnect them? Sorry if this has been covered before.

The wet okoles are side airbag friendly.

They're still there. I put the light switches where the bun warmer switches would have been had I ordered that option
