R53 gauge pod installation problems

Hi All,

I have just installed the factory gauge pod on the steering column. The toggle switches do not work when I plug in the new wiring harness but the gauges do. If I squeeze the harness tight, I can get the drivers window to work, but that's all. If I plug in the original harness back in, the toggles work again. Has any one seen this happen before?

Not too sure about this application, but my guess would be maybe some bent pins. Look down in the connector and make sure there aren't any pins bent. When you connect harnesses always be very careful when pushing them together and make sure they are lined up correctly.

Thanks for the answer. I tried it again today and everything seems to work. Maybe the pins did not line up last night.
