As a parent to read of your lack of maturity and wisdom scares the hell out of me, especially when you get behind the wheel of what can be a very deadly vehicle.

Please be careful on the roads and let it be known that it ain't cool to race on the street.

ohh and if your older than 20 dont bother replying to this thread,we dont care wat you have to say all we hear is blah blah mini blah blah money.
this may sound harsh but ive seen to many replys from adults thinking they have the answer to everything, and think we are irresponsible when reallty we are just FUN....so suck it

I am not old enough for fuzzy dice......I am sure with the street race attitude you have someone will be telling stories about the big crash you will have soon. Hope we don't see each other going down the same street.

Yeah goin fast on the street doesn't mean too much, i mean it's fun in your daily driver car on some nice windy roads, i've been in auto racing for over 7 years now, i get my real need for speed out on the track.

Sk8erguy,
your email probably just sounds worse than you probably meant it to.
I love pushing my cars a little on the roads also, yet like you said it's got to be done in remote areas and on private roads. I do have a zero tolerance rule for racing though. -it's just way too dangerous to do on a public road, not to mention you'll get your license taken away immediately if caught.

You should try to get out to your local track ...most let you race your car if you join a club.

You can be under 21 and keep it within the guidelines, a search would've proved.

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ng-people.html

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...out-there.html

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...lub-hsmoc.html

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ents-only.html

I see you edited yourself, so you're making the effort to improve your chances of success, and I can respect that.

Also you can be under 21 and still have a basic understanding of grammar! And you can even find people under 21 that are mature individuals as well!!!

sk8 I think if you said that from the start most here would agree we love to tear up the pavemnt..We have a sub division by me that was never developed...you can see for a mile and the roads are perfect. We push our cars really hard there and we also go to the track...its street racing that nobody likes....there is no need for it...sorry I will leave now...I am 44..here are a couple of pictures of my JCW and Twin Turbo Vette

21 and under maybe?

Anyway I am 21 with an '07 MCS.

Luckily I happen to live in an area of the country with so many amazing driving roads that I never have the need to drive fast regularly because anytime I want I can take the Mini out canyon carving. Skyline Drive, Blue Ridge Parkway, The Dragon, not to mention countless roads of less infamy but equal calibre all around here. In good weather I usually go out twice a week, alone or with my local car club.

Anyway, here is the ride:

Change the name to 30 and under because the only difference between a 21 yr old and 20 yr old is legally drinking haah unless congress passes 19 + to drink I think the bill is going to congress next wk, but who knows how long it will take to go through.

Anyway My names Johnny/21 and I'm a speed/twistedroadaholic

Well I wanted a MINI since I was 18 and heard they were making their way to the US, just never had the cash until recently. So yeah, I may be 25, but my desire for a MINI matured over 7 years, so there.

EU MCS driver 18 years old. I love it. Not much track experience except go karting but I'm pretty good at zipping through traffic .

17 here. Not officially mine, but we have an open key policy at our house. Great car, but you gotta respect the limits.

There are responsible twenty year olds, you know. I am twenty years old, and I have purchased this MINI Cooper S as my second car, my first being a $1,600 Mazda Protege (sweetly fun vehicle), three years ago in high school.

I've being working hard since then, and I just recently tipped my year mark in a Federal Law Enforcement job (just one more year left on this probation, then I'll be safe from getting fired for something silly). I still get crap for being the youngest out of the three hundred people at my station, but hey, it's fun, and I finally am able to purchase the car of my dreams on my own.

It was sad donating the Protege, though... hopefully that does not disqualify me from this club.

Take it to the track, that's where real men race. You don't believe me, try it once. Street racing is for punks.

What 21 year old has the money to afford a MCS?!?
I was too busy finishing off my degree...
But if you're not mature enough to drive responsibly- you're not mature enough to own a car.

And I'm not exactly an old fart...unless it's been redefined as anyone over 22....
