Anyone in Charlotte with an OBD?

Ok
Well I had an O2 sensor go out and the dealer wanted close to 500 bux to replace it?. I bought the part for about 140 or so and installed it myself in about 10 mins. Simple..
Now I still have my CEL on and from what I have read you have to get it cleared. The dealer wants like 100 bux to clear a code that will take 2 mins.

I was hoping that someone from Charlotte had one that I could use to clear this code. Heck I will even bring a case of beer or something? Im just looking to get this dang light off....

I think its crazy on what the dealers charge to do things. This isn't the first time either. A few months ago I took my Mini in to get an alignment. I figured I would get wiper blades as well. They charged me like 25 to install the wiper blades? If I knew they were going to charge me I would have dont them myself. I just thought it was a little steep, especially being that thier alignment was already overpriced.
I was planning on selling my Mini and possibly getting a new 09. But with all these little things going wrong it is making me re-think my decision. don't get me wrong, I love my Mini and I think it is the most fun I have ever had in a car, but I also want something that will be reliable over the long run. It seems once you are out of warranty, its time to start saving for repairs..

Sorry to vent guys, I had to get it out. My lady doesn't want to hear about it, ha ha ha
Thanks

no worried though I know a guy at the bmx track that has one that is going to clear it for me.

I think Auzone's policy might be to not clear codes, but there were times that I had to stop the guy from pushing the "Clear" button on my old car. The figure everyone just wants the light off - I wanted to know what the problem was!
A code should clear itself it the problem goes away, though. If you have so many "passes" after a "fail" the light will reset.
