Alternatives to Craftsquare Mirrors...

Anybody know who makes these and where we can get 'em? I like the base of these better than the craftsquare...

Probably just a universal roadster mirror. They shaved the mirror holes completely on that car. This wouldn't work on any normal mini without extensive bodywork, at which point any mirror could be bolted onto the car. You're still looking at $200-$500 in bodywork though, which includes a full repaint of both doors.

And yes, it is/was bond's car. They don't seem to talk about it much any more.

So how hard is the single wiper mod? I've been wanting to do that for a looooong time.

Not THAT hard, but it's a job for sure. It will just take a little testing. You've gotta figure out how long to extend the wiper motor arm underneath the cowl so that the travel of the wiper is the full windshield rather than just half. It's up to you on how you want to extend it.

Then all you have to do is weld the hole shut from the spare and paint the cowl again.
