Share your Holiday classic Mini photos!

Ok folks let's see your favorite holiday Mini snapshots. Call me nuts, but rather than dreaming of warmer weather I braved the 12F temps and shot this photo at midnight so I could take advantage of a short-lived fresh snow. I know, it looks like daylight, but with a tripod and time exposure, it ends up looking like a nice overcast day...

Meno, ImagoX... where's your winter snapshots? It doesn't have to be a winter photo... if you indulge Wyoming roadtrips on snowy summer nights...

Here's my Rover Mini Cabriolet in Blighty. We don't usually get that much snow but enough to cover the car up...

Stephen

Wow!

That's an amazing shot Don! It makes the car look like an Xmas ornament, the way the paint looks. Well done!

So, is the P'up safely back inside its nice warm garage or did you go play in the snow with it?

I backed it out just for the photo. Also, I photoChopped the colors so it would have that Xmas Ornament look to it. Done simply by oversaturating the pick-up's color with a sponge tool. When get time later today, I'll post a less processed photo that I took this a.m.

Here I am in a shameless attempt at jumpstarting my own thread. Here's a standard color rendition of the Pup.

Classic blimey-
Very, very nice! Nice touch with the lights on.

BigNorm-
Let me know the res. settings of your desktop and I'll make you larger images. Which of the two images are you interested in? I could also make the first photo w/out the embedded "happy holidays" font if you like.

bobbyharr883-

Here's the image you mentioned, including credits embedded. Love this image, and it's great that if you view it from the link you provided, it's downloadbable as a desktop photo. This reminds me of a really cool b&w vintage rally shot of a classic mini flying toward the camera with about 3' vertical off the ground. Minis were flying long before Evos and STis were even dreamt of.

Yes the motor is in there but I gave the two squirrels the week off the tread mill. What you're seeing is the snow that drifted in through the grill opening and is resting on the motor and not on the ground.

I would _love_ to share holiday pictures of my Mini, but my car is *still* at Heritage getting it's engine/trans rebuilt (5 months so far ...). I guess holiday pictures in Phoenix are kinda boring anyway since there's no snow here

Cheers,
Jeff

Not exactly Holiday Looking (lack of snow). But a nice B/W my son took outside of the "Best of British" store in Hampton VA. He made it into a nice framed, matted Christmas present, if that helps.
