OK, I know I said the credit card was going to need to take a break for a while after the new stripes and roof flag but being female, I can't pass up a "good deal".

I've been wanting one of those cool bags that the dealer sells for $175 or some ridiculous price. Found something similar in Target this weekend for $49. Looks to be larger than the MINI bag AND it not only cools but will warm things as well. Of course it's not the cool one that says MINI on it but for that price that's fine by me. They had one for $29 too, but it just seemed too tiny.

This morning I just ordered myself a Cooper spare tire and rim so I can rest easy while I'm driving around this winter on non run-flat snow tires. The dealer wanted $45 just for the rim. HA!

Oh yeah and at the same time I ordered the tire/wheel I also ordered the parts needed to install the power outlet in the boot.

I'm very, very bad.

>>Somebody help me!!!

Don't look at me. I just went through another $100 in cleaning stuff. Funny, I was never a big car washer, but now I can't stop. I keep having to sneak out of the house on weekends so that my wife doesn't think I'm nuts.

There are forces greater than we know at play here.

I've turned into a chronic car washer too. It is fun to watch her shine and to caress the lines...whoops, now that gets to sound like a fetish.

JerseyGirl, I think you are just about to the point where you are ready to admit your addiction and accept who you are. My first step toward accepting that I like to buy things for the MINI better than basic needs like food came when I said, "Hi, I am Bob and I am a MINI addict". It's fun and I'm losing weight now so what the heck. Enjoy!!

I have been a chronic car washer ever since I got my license (many moons ago). Even with my first car, a Mercury Tracer, I could not help but keep it sparkling clean and well waxed.

However, I have never bought so much stuff for a car, especially considering I've only had the MCS for close to a month.

OK, I'm an addict. Where do I sign up for the 12-step program.

Bob, let me know when you get the eyes. They went out on Saturday. I want to see some pics when you're done!

I hear that. My MINI is my first "new" new car. Only recently have I began to break it out under 1hr/45min But she's spotless or darn close when I'm done.

I ordered from Classic Auto Campus. They're sending me the rim with the tire already mounted. I haven't ordered from them before so I can't vouch for their service yet, but they've been very responsive to my emails and the price was great.

Robyn,

It's a tough habit to kick. I, like you, got my MINI and it was exactly how I wanted it. It had everything....yet why did I somehow fork down another $500+ before I drove away with it from the dealer in added stuff. Sure, I got the cooler bag and car cover and CD changer for free, but I saw the white tail lights, bonnet stripes, clear front lights, rubber floor mats, clothing, rogue intake, UJ valve stem caps, key chain.....ugh, the list goes on...

and since then? Tack on Pulley (coming in November), window tinting, satellite radio, cargo tray, glove box and center console organizer's, mad body spraying for all plactic parts to convert to silver, carbon fiber wipers, lapis blue shift boot and e brake boot......

Needless to say I'm addicted, yet I don't care? My only other addiction is caffeine....I hope I don't pick up any more at this point. But yet I wouldn't mind buying more things???

New brakes, wheels, exhaust, short shift kit, jethot on the exhaust manifold, aero kit, rally lights x4, hardwired valentine V1...I could keep going...must..try to......stop stop stop!!!

haf
