JCW Carbon Fibre Door Grips & JCW Wheel

JCW Carbon Fibre Door Grips & JCW Wheel

My new additions

The speaker grills wer a royal pain to get off. So i bought new ones just in case i damaged the originals. It's surprising that once you do this and you're not scared of damaging the originals, how you get them off damage free Pair for sale if anyones interested in chromline versions

They look great especially for less than £70 ( £100 if you include speaker grills )

The JCW wheel is only subtlely different from std. 3 spoke, but somehow feels really special

For my next mod I'm thinking of the JCW leather/leather wheel. Do you think it's worth it? I figure a JCW wheel and a Whalen shift **** for Christmas!

Close call as it's not a cheap part. Easy to fit yourself though in 20-25 mins. It does feel real chunky and adds to the 'kart' feel.

That's what is holding me up, the price.

When I track or autocross, I do find the standard wheel causes some irritation on the webbing of my hand between thumb and finger. Or maybe I'm just looking for an excuse (lol).

Where'd you get the carbon fiber door handles from? I haven't seen em anywhere.

Only just released in the UK / Europe in last 2 weeks. You should be able to get your dealer to get them.

There's a seller on e.bay also.

Failing that, drop me a PM and i'll give you a contact in the UK

Hi,

First you remove the arm bolster. Easy to do by putting both hands palm down on the top and with your finger tips pulling up and out. This will give access to t20 star head screw. Other end is held on by another screw. To gain access to this one you have to remove the speaker grill. To do this you need a flat plastic trim removal tool which you slide into the gap between door handle and speaker. Once in a good way, you twist the tool to pop off the grill. On the drivers side you have to remove the electric mirror switch unit first. To do this i got a sharp ended o-ring pick ( like a metal cocktail stick with a handle ) and carefully pushed it under the switch shroud at the bottom and this popped it out without external damage to any trim.
