Well it has been a while since this has been brought up so here we go again!

I have heard rumors (Google searches) that MINI does indeed make and/or is going to make Factory rear and side sunshades.

This is a must if you meet the follow conditions:
Anyone have more info? Anyone in Canada or Europe seen this?

i have seen this on benzes and bimmers..and they look ok...they are fun especially if they are powered

but if u have tinted windows, and STILL have these..i think it kind of defeats the purpose, dont you think so?

Thanks KatanaPilot, I asked my dealer and they never heard of it. I should just call Classic from here on out. I intend on getting the alarm install through them.

re03miniS, my state only allows 35% tint which doesn't really do all that much. My son is still bothered by the sun light that comes through. I could get the ones from Babies R Us but those suck and aren't MINI specific. I am very picky and have to have the MINI specific kind.

    Thanks,

Well I took the Canadian advice and called a dealer in Canada. They did not have them in stock but were very nice and ordered them. I should have them in a couple of weeks.

I used the part numbers above. Very expensive. The total cost for the parts and shipping comes out to about $250...

Can't wait to get them... Must have every Mini accessory made!!!!!!!!!!

Got em! They are really nice. They fit perfect. They come with velcro stickies but you don't really need them. They all three sort of just snap right in place. Not worth what I paid but very nice!
