R56 GREEN ECO PARADE!
GREEN ECO PARADE!
I was going into the Montreal Financial District this week, when Traffic slowed and stopped to let some type of 'Green' parade thru contesting global warming, etc. Well in the financial district, many high end big cars mercedes, escalades, Hummers around there... as the protesters where ,chanting slogans such as shame shame to the hummer ,aviator escalade owners, a couple of marchers came over, signaled me to put my window down and thanked me for driving smart giving me a flower and went along their merry ways,,, How about that???
Hmm, anyone stop to figure out what was the carbon footprint of the parade
Always funny kind of difficult to protest their cause without adding to the problem. But anyways what kind of crazy person would even want to drive a big car in Montreal? Not exactly the widest roads around there.

That is pretty cool!!!
It'll be interesting to watch the "green" fad pass by the wayside over the next year, assuming my west coast friend in advertising is right. Once it does, the issues facing our life on this planet will most likely all still remain, so perhaps this will lead to something more lasting in our culture. I suspect that, given the serious issues undergirding this current fad, we'll be talking about this for a long, long time.
