Hey guys! I have an Alta intake

Hey everybody, I live right near the Hendrick dealer and have a Alta Intake for a R56

I put it on 2 days ago, and YES there is a big performance gain
However, I REALLY like the design of that NM intake, so before I consider putting it on the Marketplace, does anyone in the charlotte area want dibs?

Jimmy

I had an ALTA header with Cat and some others in the club have also. Well they were not up to snuff and they are refunding the money instead of the product. Problem is that is has taken almost 3 months and after repeated emails, no response from the manufacture. It might just be me, but I will not buy another ALTA Product. I know alot of people have satisfaction with ALTA, but I have not and do not understand them not replying to my email complaints. Sorry but they have lost me as a customer.

My Mini is still a long way out but I have started looking for performance parts. I had been looking at the Alta intake. Who makes the NM intake?

www.DDMWorks.com is located in Greenville SC Area and has one of the best cold air induction on the market email info@DDMWorks.com or cal 864 907 6004. I hadc a Helix but replaced it with the DDM and Doc had a JCW and replaced it with a DDM. They look great and work great. They make them for the R53 & R56 not sure about the R55 but they probably do or will.

May ask why you are getting rid of it besides going with a new cai that looks better?

What are the the likes and most important the dislikes? Reason I ask is I am going with one of the two

thank you,
Jason

Mini Rose, when do you expect the new baby to arrive? Hendrick usually has them ready within a couple of days after delivery. We love to drop by when we know someone is getting theirs just to look at those SMILING FACES!

hey jas, I like the uni foam filter a lot! theres not really anything i Don't like, its the fact that I like the NM engineering one better if that makes any sense. The NM engineering intake also replaces the inlet as well

We ordered ours from Flow. When we started looking at the Mini, Hendrick did not have any cars to test drive. We went to Flow and our MA spent several hours with us and we test drove 3 different Mini's. So we ordered from them. If they arrive in SC as scheduled on the 16th, we hope to have Mini Rose by the 24th. Flow will be installing the sport stripes and the Xpel covering so they will need a few days to get it ready. Thanks for the offer, that is a great idea.
