JCW Suspension vs Dinan Suspension

Just trying to get a frame of reference.
I am very familiar with the JCW Suspension. If anyone has any experience with BOTH, how does the Dinan Suspension Compare to it? Firmer, softer, etc...?

It says on Dinan's website they use Koni "adjustables". If the picture is accurate, they're just Koni Yellow's. They of course offer zero information on their springs. Dinan is pretty much the ultimate in dealership boutique accessory rip-off. They're for the consumer that can't tell the difference until they notice the badge on the car.

Now, what exactly are you trying to achieve with your suspension? What's your application, budget, and goals?

Hey Ryephile,
Yeah Dinan uses Koni yellows w/springs.. (adjusted to match)
Not sure what the rate is, that is why I was curious about how they compare to the JCW. Personally I'd get the JCW, but I'm just trying get an answer to the question by hoping someone has experience w/BOTH..

Yes, the Koni's rebound damping can be dialed in to match whatever springs you install on them. Dinan doesn't have any information on if they alter the handling balance of the car with different rate springs, or if the ride height changes at all. Both points will significantly alter the handling of the car. Perhaps give them a call and ask if they're willing to disclose any basic info.

My question is still relevant; regardless of these two suspension setups in question, what are your personal goals with your MINI? You're really pigeonholing yourself with just two options!
