So had a business lunch today with a sales rep. He took 2 people with him in his new Mazda RX8, and I took 2 co-workers with me in the MINI. They were quite impressed with the pick-up. (Is that big speedometer accurate ) Now my one co-worker who has a highly modified Samarai thinks he needs to find a wrecked MINI so that he can put the same engine into his Sammi. The first time my dad saw my MINI and took a look at the engine, he thought it would be a fine replacement for his lawnmower's engine.

While the group at lunch are all IT geeks, we always digress to cars and bikes. One of the engineers personally knows Carroll Shelby, in fact his second car was a gift from him. I impressed the sale rep. a sports bike enthusiast, by knowing Rob Muzzy, my husband used to manufacture pipes for him before he went on to managing race teams for Kawaski. Anyway, they all think the MINI is pretty darn cool.
