I am an engineer for Brey-Krause manufacturing. We produce a number of aftermarket parts for various vehicles. The bulk of our products consist of racing harness mounts, aftermarket seat mounts, fire extinguisher brackets and other items for autocrossing, track day and racing use. We're looking to offer a number of products for the new Mini but we need a car to get measurements and test-fit prototypes.

If anyone in the Lehigh Valley (in the vicinity of Allentown, PA) area is willing to bring their car in, we will offer them any parts we produce with their assistance free of charge. Our top priority is a DOT approved harness mount system as well as mounts for aftermarket seats. An ideal situation would be leaving the car with us for a week or so; however I know this can be difficult. Even having access to the car at our shop for a few hours would work for us. At a minimum we will need to unbolt the car's seatbelt hardware, and possibly the seat mounting. We will consult the owner before performing any major disassembly.

All our parts are designed to use existing mounting points so there will be no drilling, welding or otherwise defacing your car. We have an original Mini in the warehouse. You just need to supply a seat, doors, bumper, steering wheel, windshield and three tires

I asked my boss if he would loan out his S-10, but he declined
