Does anyone have any recent info on a limited slip for the MC, I just spent some time looking and the only thing I saw was someone on MINI 2 paid a lot of money for the quaife and a professional install (because I guess it is really really hard).

So are there any LSD's out there that fit 'easily' and arent too expensive?

emobob - Because of the difficulty of the install, I don't think you will find any "easy" to install Limited Slip option. Whatever you do will require removal of the transmission and that is by no means an easy task since most of the front subframe must be removed to get to it. I suggest you save up and do any and all transmission upgrades all at one time. (LSD, Lightweight Clutch, etc) It is a bear to install any of these and expesive to boot.

thanks for the tip, I suppose my next hurdle would be finding a place I trust to install it then.

What do you think of a ltw flywheel isntall, because someone on here a while back gave huge warnings about the quality and balance of most aftermarket flywheels, and how stock ones are dual mass, and that makes them ideal anyways.

also, are you saying that when the clutch wears out, that the I will be looking at a 1200 dollar instlal fee(or even more....whatever they charge to take off the transmission and subframe)

thanks
