WOW, I love the brushed aluminum look.

can you send some photos of the trim back on the car? I'd love to see how it actually looks once it's installed.

great mod-

...actually forgot to mention, my Porsche has brushed black aluminum trim...it looks super sweet and came stock from the factory like that. I've never seen it on another car. It may be cool to paint the brushed pieces on your Mini w/ a thin semi-transparent black paint and then coat w/ a clear layer of clear coat to protect it. It may take some trial and error, yet me getting some ideas now!

Looks awesome. How do think it will hold up against the elements? You might need to at least clear coat it to protect it. I love the idea though. Would look sweet with astro black.

That is beautiful! It reminds me of stainless steel... would love to see a shot of that next to a car with shiny chrome, for comparison.

Was thinking a quick media blast might give a more even look or at lease use a higher count sandpaper. Interesting look but the uneven scratches are a little ghetto

i used 120 and 180

DL's were dealer but you have to take them off to pull off the grill

and i think it looks good except for the grill trim i rushed on that peice ...i was running late for work

next is the door handles and side scuttle if they are same material as other chrome trim

So many mods, where to begin? Hmm.

Most Major Mod -- Rear Seat Delete Cabinet and replace all speakers

Most Recent Mod -- iPhone 3G Dock mounted in the cup holder.

First Mod -- Hand Turned Shift **** (had it ready before the car was delivered).

So many others, I've lost track.
Paint brake calipers
LED interior lights
Soundproofing floormats
Move Bluetooth Mic...
