Try this idea. Drive the MINI as normal for 30 minutes or so. As soon as you get back home grab a water hose and a rubber hammer. Spray the exhaust pipe with water just at the base of the extension tip. Be careful not to spray the extension tip. After a couple of seconds of cooling water spray tap on the back of the tip with the rubber hammer. It still may require some convincing, but it should come off.
I took mine off real easy. Had a Grand Prix run into the back of the MINI...waa laa, I use one as a pencil holder on my office desk.
i would but but after i got them on i realized i need bigger bolts so im running to home depo and as im heading home i hear a ting ting i pull over a little farther down the road and find that i only have one exhaust tip i go back and find it but by that time it had been all bent and deformed by a big rig so i just put the stock one back on for now
