Out Motoring REDline Beltline Kit??

I just ran across this...wondering how it would look.

Anybody have pictures of this on a blue MINI? Any color MINI?

I'm a little bit concerned that they list that kit as being applicable for *all* MINIs. If I remember correctly, the chrome strip on the R56/R55 is a little bit wider than it was on the first-gen cars.

Read it again

"Please note on the Gen 2 MINI, the beltline grew (yes, it did get fatter) in both directions as a result the tape is slightly wider so please select the correct model."

In the dropdown box you pick your model.

Looks like someones placing an order at Outmotoring tomorrow. This looks great.

You could always buy 1/4" red and 1/4" black stripes so the red is a lil less menacing and law both down the beltline. That would be the cats ****

That's cool. Best thing is if it doesn't work I can just peel it back off!

I bought and removed the Outmotoring tape, not becasue it was bad but I messed up the install. I want to try your suggestion but...what red is basic red? I want to match the red on my car but they use marketing names with no picture...

Ideas

It was the lack of understanding that there was a clear tape on top that needed to be removed. It got ugly over time, and thinking the tape was bad, I removed it. It was only after that that I realized I screwed up.

Thanks

You can get a whole catalogue with samples from Beacon Graphics free .

Or do as I did....get rid of the peeling tape and just Plasti-dip spray it!
