Wasnt there some issue with the muffler clearance? I wondered why it was a problem since its only a muffler right? a catback would face trouble because of how long it is, but part of the install on a regular mini is to cut the stock exhaust and mount the muffler if Im not mistaken. If it isnt released, maybe there's hope! it ended up looking good for automatics!

I wonder since the only difference in a muffler, then why couldn't someone get the Stage I kit installed and just not install the exhaust? (or replace with a different aftermarket exhaust)

Just sayin'

End of this year they say...

Exhaust is the problem, everything else is identical to the R56.

I wonder of Mini would break up the kit to allow Clubman owners to do just that? I guess you could always purchase the kit as if for a Cooper; install it yourself, and then add the exhaust.

That's what I was thinking and you could sell the exhaust to offset the cost of a new one.

Or MINI could just give us the same exhaust as on the JCW Clubman?
