Yes it's good for the price...
but it doesn't have an RPM input, and it's rather basic. If you've got an iPhone it's a neat app for $13. If you don't have an iPhone, not so much so....
But it's a great example of what you can do with tech now! FWIW, it uses the internal acclerometers to do it's measurements.
