Clear Bra-Las Vegas

For anyone interested in having a clear bra installed in the Las Vegas Valley, I can recommend Las Vegas Paint Protection and it's owner Mike Rhodes. He did an install on my '08 Cabrio used LLumar and did an excellent job, He spent over 4 hours and everything turned out perfect...

Jerico:

Funny, I just sent you a message recommending Mike Roades as he did my clear bra/tint and then noticed your message on the board about 5 minutes later. Glad you found the right guy.

I have a MINI on en route right now and have read a bit about a clear bra. What are the pros/cons to having a clear bra? Just curious if its worth getting. THX!

The clear bra protects the car from paint chips. I put one on the second day I had the car and I'm so glad I did. Don't think there are any real cons except that if you are really looking you can see the outside edges of the clear bra but it is very slight. I have the clear bra on the front fender, lights(including fog lights), 24"up the hood, outside mirrors and on the two door edges. If you decide to put on a clear bra look into Las Vegas Paint and Protection. Mike does an great job and his price is excellent. The clear bra comes with a lifetime warranty too. Good luck!!

Total cost for Llumar clear bra w/lifetime warranty from Las Vegas Paint Protection covering the hood just past the air scoop, mirrors, grill, bumper, head lights, fog lights, and door edges was under $ 400.00... Very pleased with work done by Mike Rhodes....

Mine was $450.00 and stops 11" above air vent. He has 3 prices depending on how much clear bra you want. I also had him tint my car and he did an excellent job with both. Here is his info:

Thanks for the info, I will give him a call. If he can do it while I am in LV picking up our Clubman from the dealership I might give it a shot.

I just spoke to Mike, I believe we will have everything done by him. They also have good prices on tinting.

His number is (702) 885-7628.

He will also do sunroof and put on stripes from MiniStripes

Mike at Eco-Tint in Las Vegas just did my MCCS and WOW! Great Job! Very happy with the service and attention. Almost 30 separate pieces applied. I got the rockers, bottom of both doors (up about 12"), door handle wells, backs of mirrors, all the front chrome, up the bonnet about 12" past the lights (even trimmed around the bonnet strips so they aren't covered), headlights, headlight washer cover chrome, all the front bumper (have the aero package) including the fog lamps and wells, door edges, everything. Great price and good work. Thanks Mike!!!

I had a clear bra put on mine and was very happy except that it went on over the stripes that were installed only the day before at the dealer. I then discovered better stripes by vendors, but I can't remove the old ones without pulling off the CB first which I'm not going to do until it needs replacing. So the cooler stripes will have to wait until then.

If your car is coming with stripes, there's a chance they may be installed at the dealer. I'd research stripes (look around here on NAM) and if you decide you want something better than the standard bonnet stripes, you may want to (1) see if the dealer is going to install yours and (2) stop them if that's what you want and (3) get the ones you want and THEN (4) get the CB installed.

Well, that's what I'm doing next time.
