yeeea, i'm currently 6/10 bars down- and been cruising about 80 on the highway, sport mode, but under 4k shifts ALWAYS so far, 250 miles so far... my computer says 24mpg so far... its been going up since i got th ecar at 3miles, but thats obviously because there was nothing for the computer to average.. but im hoping i''ll hit at least 350 with my first tank... i'll have a nice drive with the bristol run tmrw, so we'll see.
i thought maybe with break in period i'd get worse mileage.. since everything is being broken in/burning off etc, ???
maybe i'm just driving it wayy too hard lol- coming from a slow car and loving to drive fast ones, its hard to keep off the gas in this car.

I had about 430 miles before stopping for fill-up. I filled my tank for $53.02 at a price of $4.35 (premium) with 13 gallons. I am impressed with gas mileage for MCS. After fill up, my odometer showed I have 515 miles to go. WoW. So far I drove 50 miles, still have 400 miles to go. WoW WoW WoW
I think they meant pics of Apple. Have you posted any? We would love to see some.

yes i write code its missing a 1 at the end for S
On the current tank I have driven 297 miles and only 4 lights are off on the fuel gauge.
ave=37.5mpg. MCS engine is nice because you don't have to use the turbo power all the time. It sips fuel (almost) like the MC engine in normal gentle driving and when I need the power the engine revs up and turbo provides the exhilerating acceleration. I am loving it. MCS drivers, keep the rpm low and you will prolong the turbo life and save fuel. Engage the turbo only when you want it.
I'm showing a little shy of 32 mpg and the other night when I filled her up it only took $52. Not too bad for an S
So what's considered 'low'? I'm usually concerned about lugging the engine at highway speeds, and well...most of the time when I'm trying to save gas and don't like to keep the RPMs anywhere near 2k when I'm cruising. Do I have the right idea or am I just being paranoid? Noobish question I know...but the only cars I ever drove that were manual either didn't have a tach (so i never payed attention) or guzzled so much gas it didn't matter how slow I drove

How do you get to have your plates on so soon? In CA you have to surrender your sequential plates to pick up your custom ones. (even though you can order them ahead of time, as I just did)

Damn. That's cool. Stoopid CA DMV.
Though not having plates for a few weeks will give me an opportunity to use the empty space for bumper stickers for my preferred presidential candidate, without mucking up my paint.
