I don't know if this is a feature on my 04 or if it's even mentioned in the manual or not, but I thought it was pretty cool. Normally, the rear wiper is intermittent. But when you put the car in reverse, it runs continuously. They must have a lot of fun coming up with these ideas when they design the electronics.

 

you mean to tell me you have actually driven your car in the rain??

 

Almost 5 months now and my Clubbie hasn't seen rain yet. We finally are in the monsoon season here in the desert so there is more of a chance of it happening but so far, we haven't been caught out in it yet. Also, if it is raining while leaving the house, I will use my newly obtained '67 Bug.

 

same thing here, I just use the good ole' scion xb. I have only had the mini 2 weeks now, but its monsoon season here and I am trying to keep the mini spotless (OCD about these things) .

 

Did you notice that your speedometer works in reverse also!

 

My rear wipers are still broken... left one goes twice then quits, right one keeps going about 20 times then quits half-way up or all up or mostly down. Dealer says new motor needed and on order - for a month now...

 

Of course! It beats walking. I ride my bicycle when it's sunny.

 

I don't think I'd ever notice that on my own. What are the chances...

...that I drive in reverse
...long enough that the wipers make several strokes
...and I have the presence of mind to look at them?

 

I've had my car since March 25th and I've driven over 6000 miles. It took me four months to notice.
