Mine is finally in now that it is tinted, striped, and ultra-shielded. Had dealer send me pics today since I won't be able to get there until Monday :-(

Thanks guys I do have one question I ordered it with the backup sensors because I love buttons and gadgets. On the convertibles and the configurator it shows the sensors in the middle of the back bumper in the painted section. I noticed on mine in the picture they are on the black part on the bottom of the bumper?? Is this a change that they did on 09's that could have made it to mine???

 

Did they tint your sunroof too?

 

No I didn't have them do that since I was going to see how much sun comes in first. I normally leave all my other cars open and they just have regular tint as well.

First off congrats and it is real sharp looking

The convertible is still built on the first generation platform so that is what you might be thinking,in 2009 it moves to the larger R56 platform.The R56 has the backup sensors in the black part of the lower bumper and I would imagine that the 2009's will be the same.

I know I am so excited and wish I could pick it up now. But my friend is coming from Charlotte to go to B-Day party so it just works out better that I am going to ride back there with him monday to get it since I live 4 hrs away from where she is. :-(
