Black Bridge Spokes?

Hey guys, I ordered my MINI last week with the 16" Bridge Spokes. One of the first things I have planned is possibly getting them powdercoated black.

Has anyone done this? If so, please post pics! Thank you!!

You rock! Thank you! Do you think a glossy black would be a better choice or the matte finish as seen in that picture?

Personally, I like the matte. I think glossy black wheels look too bling and I prefer a functional racy look.

But in the end it's whatever makes you happy.

Edit: Had another thought. If you're going to pay for powder coating, which I hear is somewhere around $150/wheel, you might just consider getting another set of wheels. You can sell the Bridges to recoup some cost or keep them as track beaters.

Thanks! Does anyone have these in glossy? Scruffy, do you have a brighter pic of his wheels? It's kinda dark!

Funny that I run into this thread today before you PMd me.

I have really weak pictures of the rims. I'll try and grab some good ones soon. I love the matte look but obviously it works well with my car.

Phant! I really appreciate you throwing those up there for me! I realllly love the look. I am leaning towards the matte, but am curious if the glossy would flow better with the glossy black accents I will have (roof, pillars). Any suggestions?

If your roof comes in actual black and not this astro crap black that my entire car came in I'd go gloss. I know the pillars will be true black as even mine are.

Personally I like blue with gloss black rims. This is one of my old cars and it looked killer. Go gloss.

My goodness, your cars have all been ridiculously good looking! You are completely right, with the gloss roof (it's not astro) & gloss pillars, I think the glossy black will pull it all together!

I toyed with this idea too. I don't know who's wheels these are originally but I added the green/red strip in the gimp. BE warned with powder coat as the heat cycling can remove the heat treat on the metal and weaken them. I ended duplacolor wheel painting them flat for autocross.

Any ideas how he retained the MINI logo in the center?
