White Wall Tires ???

Anyone know if a manufacturer makes wide whitewalls for our small tires?

Not sure if this is a good idea for my driving and detailing habits, but they sure would look cool.

Give the guy a break. Wide whites on steel rims, small center moon type hubcaps with trim rings, flat black paint, flames and some nice pinstripping and he might just have designed the hot rod of the future. lol, Danny1940 as in 40 ford "hot rod".

Ive seen white walls on PT cruisers, and think it looks horrible. Even seen some with side skirts
I couldnt imagine it on a mini.
Plus the fact that they dont make a whitewall performance tire, your handling will suffer greatly.
But at least it'll give you that old nestalgia big boat feeling around the turns!

option 1: paint 'em

option 2: portawalls (not the right size but you can hunt for them them in 15", never seen them in 16")

painting holds up well.
portawalls after prolonged use tend to lead to poor beading/leaks

i think the rims are wrong for that setup, go with the ol school steel and dog dish half moons. it would give it more of a cali surfer look

Then add all the wood grain to the body to make it look really cool. Kind of like this

for some reason I couldnt install the link as an open picture.
feel free to if you can get it to. Looks kinda neat I think.
just needs white walls, steel rims with dog dish caps, and a board on top.A pretty lady in fron wouldn't hurt much either

sadly, i dont really dig those panels. i like the oldschool look of whitewalls and chromies but no paneling. just my personal taste

i think they have a neat idea, but myself would like to see it done a little more realistic, and it also needs the trim around it to look authentic.
they possibly should have chosen a different color as well.

how did you open the picture?

agreed, maybe the tone/hue is off. the border without a doubt is the deal breaker, makes it look more authentic.

for the image: i just right clicked, copied image location, clicked the embed image icon in the reply dialogue (yellow box with a mountain and sun), and there ya go.
