Have you ever changed your mind on the color of your MINI?

I'm really digging the Dark Silver with white roof/mirror caps and the hyper blue with the same set up.

I'd always wanted CR/W and so many of the color combinations are cool. I especially like looking at CR/B PW/B BRG/W DS/B MY/B all with the roof-matching bonnet stripes of course. But I'm a CROC for life.

Change for the better.

When I ordered my 2005 MCS my wife had me talked into DS/B. After three sleepless nights I called and had the order changed to BRG/W. I never looked back. Long Live the BRG

I always wanted the Lightning Blue / White, or Dark Silver / Black, or Astro Black all over, but after test driving a laser blue at the dealer, and really thinking about it, I changed at the last minute to Laser Blue / Black, and I'm loving my decision. Can't wait to get behind the wheel!

Yes I wanted DS instead of CR/CR.

I originally made a deal on a '08 base equipped DS/B MCS at Lauderdale MINI but ended up with a CR/W MCS at Vista MINI.They beat the deal I got from there by a lot for a CR/W with a few more options on it but didn't have a DS in stock in that price range. So I bought the CR/W MCS but the next day I went back and exchanged it for a CR/CR MCSa that just came in because the manual shifting was just too much work for me in local stop and go driving.

I can't say I've changed my mind on colors (I do like them all), but this is more a matter of how my brain works than anything else. I tend to roll around color choices very lightly in my head w/o fixating on any one exclusively. By the time the various choices start to come into focus, I have sifted through all the issues and selected one....and that's that. Choosing Oxygen Blue was pretty easy as it was a fantasy/dream color of mine on classic Minis and when it became available (by some miracle) for Coopers (my MINI of choice) as a non-metallic option is simply was destiny. That doesn't happen often w/ MINIs, I admit.

I sometimes do. Color choice was a tough one for me. I'm basically all about black & white. An AB MINI would have seemed the obvious choice, but no other color looked right on the MINI except CR/W. The PW/B was an intriguing option, but it also didn't suit the MINI to my eye. So now & then I see an Astro Black MINI on the road & think "Should I have...?"

Had she been a cabrio, BRG would have been the only way to go. But that's a separate discussion.

My choices were clear in my mind: Red, Yellow, Silver, Black, Blue, Oxygen Blue. Now, if that blue that is available in the S wa sin the cooper, I;'d have gotten that in a heartbeat.

I eliminated red because there are too many reds. I eliminated black because I am in Texas and it gets hot and I have a sunroof AND it shows dirt and scratches easier. Likewise that darker blue, so bye bye. I was left with silver/yellow/oxygen blue. Silver went away because silver was too bland and just not my mini... maybe when I am old like my grandma whom has a silver car. So, I decided on yellow over oxygen blue because that blue looked nice, but waaay too conservative for me. I like to stand out. And now I have Spongebob! (just kidding, haven't decided on a name yet!)

About twice a week, I wish I would've gone with a PW/PW with a cream color line and an english oak dash and steering wheel.

The rest of the week I'm pleased with my CR/Checkered.

Color always seems to be the hardest decision... Personally speaking, once we made up our minds, that was it - we had no regrets....

My Choice

Hi Folks,

My choice for the Clubman I ordered was Pepper White, Black & Black.

I like the contrast this gives over most of the other options for the Clubman. I'd maybe go with a blue w/ black, but that's too dark. I'd like a red with black, but that might be too risky. I'd have gotten a red with white roof, etc. but that's not available.

The other "win" with PW, B&B is that there's the "free" (non optional) black of the wheel wells, and bottom of the car all around. So, using black & black is almost like "boxing in" the body color. And to me, the PW looked the best with that boxed-in look.

Adding the silver roof and pillars still doesn't remove the black along the bottom, so you end up with 3 body colors, and not 2. Though, I would have done red with a white roof, if it was offered. Humm, looking at the silver too, I guess that's interesting. But the PW is the contrast I'm looking for.

I'll be getting mine without stripes and adding them later, as the car leads me.

Cheers

I knew I wanted a CR/W as soon as I saw the my first Mini ad. I haven't thought of the color of my next Minis. Yes, I said Minis. I plan on having a fleet.

First, I fixated on the Laser Blue color. After visiting the Dealer, I decided to go with Red, then Yellow. An hour later, I ordered my Sparkling Silver baby! I like all the colors, but the Sparkling Silver just spoke to me ... I won't have any regrets!

I also really wanted the yellow that was offered for R53's because my cousin had one in yellow, and i loved the Yellow/white/white combo.

I am a girl. And i will import my MCSa, but i am also having a bit of a hard time choosing my color.I am between 3 color combinations Lightning Blue/White,Chilli Red/Black and Pepper White/Black.In my country theres is only 1 MINI dealer, and all their inventory are 4 will import my MCSa from USA)..Of those choices i only saw the PW/B and thought it was beautiful.I still dont know,i like the 3 equally the same.I need suggestions people !!!

Which one you like the best?
I really dont have a clue which one i like the best, since i got to see most of them in pictures.I think i will be getting the stripes too, exept for the PW for a more elegant classic combo. It will be my first car and i am really looking foward that my parents make it possible.

If Lightning Blue were an option for the main Mini Cooper... you'd be damn sure I'd have it. Then red, then PW for the question above.

I NEVER once changed my mind on the color!!! I've ALWAYS decided on the Astro Black, black roof, because, if you knew me, you'd know that yellow with black is my FAVORITE color combination, which is why I ABSOLUTELY configured it as white on black, CONFIDENTLY ordered it with silver under white, and SINCERELY admire every red/white MINI on the road I see. I'm all about consistency!
