Nope. I wanted DS from the get go. But, at one time wanted DS/B and once I saw an all DS ...well, that was that.

Yes. I originally had an order for British Racing Green w/ white top, caps and stripes. When the new colors for 2006 were released, I immediately changed it to Space Blue with sliver top, caps and the "U" stripe.

 

I would've done the Purple Haze in a heartbeat, but it wasn't offered when I purchased. I ended up purchasing the color that got me interested in the many years ago, red, know as Chilli Red in my year of purchase.

 

Just yesterday, in fact! Originally wanted chili red/white; ordered pure silver/black; yesterday, changed it to dark silver/black. I wonder what I'll change it to next?

That's what the configuator is for! I have about 20 different "alter-ego" MINIs stored there. . . all different colors!

My 8-year-old son has about 10 saved, and they are ALL black!

 

Help, I ordered Yellow/Black... but now seriously wonder if I should have ordered red/black. I like both colors... but i picked yellow cause it was mroe rare, now I can't decide if I should switch. If I do switch, now is the time to switch.

Seriously... I almost went with Solar Red when I ordered my CR Cooper. I didn't like the roof color options on it though. Plus, when I went to test drive one, I saw the brightness of CR and it was a done deal. Not a single regret since that day. That color is an eye-grabber !

I do love the JB also... no color is as gorgeous or reflects as deeply when it's clean (and mine ALWAYS is).

PW... I love it too because it doesn't show the dirt and imperfections as much as the darker colors which keeps me from constantly cleaning three MINIs. Besides, it's not mine so the color isn't as important to me as it is to my SO.

Bonus... those three colors go great together !

 

Well... I decided to switch to Chili Red/White with bonnet stripes... Why? Because I am getting the dual sunroof and when I saw a pic of it... it looked SHARP.

 

Another one! HA-HA! Soon we'll have the numbers to take over the world!

 

I was having WAAAY too much doubt with my choice of mellow yellow/black. The ONLY hting holding me back on chili red/white was that EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER has it. Then I thought to myself: I am not a taxi driver, school bus driver, buble bee, nor sponge bob... and said screw it and changed it to chili red/white. Originally it was chili red/black but I saw a chili red/white with dual dun roof, and since I have dual sunroof... I was like WOW!!!!! looks SHARP. and therefore... I converted.

Still wish I were only chili red/white on the road though. Hah... I guess if mini ever went into a war, I have backup.
